Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE)

Upon admission to AUB and prior to registration, students admitted to AUB must demonstrate a level of English proficiency consistent with the demands of a program carried out almost exclusively in the English language. This should be done as early as possible (in general, no later than 1 month prior to the start of the semester) by submitting official test scores for (at least) one of the following tests listed in the below RUSE tables for undergraduate or graduate admissions.  Students joining AUB at the undergraduate level should reference the "Undergraduate RUSE" table while students joining AUB at the graduate level should reference the "Graduate RUSE" table.

Please note that some applicants might be exempted from the RUSE requirements; such exemptions are listed in the "RUSE Exemption" table at the end of this page.
